Detoxification Diet

Soup:

1/4c. whole barley

1/4c. quinoa (amaranth ok)

1/2c. chopped white radish (daikon)

1/2c. summer squash

1 tbsp. whole coriander seed

1 tsp. spice mix (see pH factor for guidelines)

mineral salt (saindhava)

Add above to 2 qts. water and cook--veggies may be added after grains have been cooking so that all ingredients complete cooking at same time

This may be strained and to it added  juice of 1/2 lime and 1 tsp olive oil

 

 If pH is below 6.5

If pH is below 7.4

If pH is above 7.5

Have stewed pear with 2 cloves in the morning Stewed apple with figs and three cloves stewed apple/pear with 5 cloves
Spice Mixture (proportions):                                     1 turmeric, 1 cumin, 6 coriander, 6 fennel 2 turmeric, 3 cumin, 6 coriander, 6 fennel 3 turmeric, 4 cumin, 6 coriander, 6 fennel, 1 black pepper, 1 ginger
Favor Trinity Water, sweet lassi Favor Fiji water, sweet or digestive lassi Favor Fiji water, digestive lassi
Favor alfalfa sprouts, broccoli, wheat grass, spinach (only when cooked with the spice mixture), olives, lemon, asparagus, cabbage, Swiss chard, kale Beets, celery, zucchini, sweet potato, avocado, okra, summer squash, turnip greens All vegetables ok except eat less nightshades (potato, eggplant, tomato)

Avoid: refined sugar and foods incorporating it (jams, baked goods, etc.), sugar substitutes (aspartame, Nutrasweet), processed honey, chocolate, processed fruit juices, processed cheese, yeasted breads, reduce or eliminate beef, pheasant, lobster, shellfish, and pork, coffee, soft drinks, beer

Favor: Olive oil to cottonseed oil, canola oil, or other hydrogenated oils

Reduce: lima beans, kidney beans, navy beans, corn, corn bi-products

 Smart Water: (drink daily all day long during detoxification period) 1/4t to 1t fennel & coriander seed / pwd., 1-2 pinches licorice root pwd., 1-2 pinches marshmallow root, 2 pinches (cut and sifted best) manjishtha; add all of above to 2 quarts water brought to a boil and allow to simmer in closed container for 20 minutes; drink throughout the day

Rehydrating Water: 8oz warm water with juice 1/2 lime, 1t raw sugar, 1/8t mineral salt, 4 leaves peppermint
